One week earlier than last season, the
Ard Shenk crocuses started to bloom! I noticed them yesterday afternoon. I also see the tulip and daffodil foliage peaking through the soil and mulch. It's only in the low 30s today, making these very welcome signs of Spring!
Wow, yours are faster than ours! I see the green foilage but no sign of blooms yet. I did spy that my daffodil greens are popping up. I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteI was shocked myself to see them already. I do love seeing the green of other bulbs popping up as well. I think it is as much fun as finding gifts under the Christmas tree when I was a kid. I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh it's so nice to see the first flower bloom. I have some snow drops blooming and one yellow crocus just waiting to open...maybe tomorrow!
