Time to Plant Some Seeds!

On an unseasonably warm day I got to plant my first round of seeds. One Mucho Nacho jalapeno, 9 Fat 'n' Sassy peppers (now named King Arthur), 12 Burpee Petite Series snapdragons, and 9 Velour Blue and Bronze viola. I also started the paper towel method that I described last season to start some Tango celery seeds. It has felt like forever since I've been able to garden. What a wonderful day!

  1. Today it was warm enough in NC, but not for planting our seeds yet! The ground is too cold and hard.

  2. I should have been more clear. :) I started these indoors. We still have snow on the ground here.

  3. Yay for Spring! Our hardware store will be getting in onion sets next week. January in PA was the coldest in 25 years. I believe it! I just hope my strawberries and asparagus survived.

  4. I believe it too. I just planted some strawberries, raspberries, and some dwarf fruit trees in the fall. I really hope they all made it! It won't be long before we get our answers.
